Video description:

“Box Of Rain’s return to the live repertoire in 1986 after a 13 year absence was one of the most welcome re-births of a Dead song. Since its March 20, 1986 return in Hampton, VA, Box Of Rain was a song that could appear anywhere in the show, sometimes opening the second set (as it does here), sometimes an encore, occasionally ending a first set, random middle of the first set placement, and even an occasional show-opener. Box Of Rain would be the last song the Grateful Dead ever played.” – David Lemieux
