Notes:
Notes: — Recorded by Don Pearson and Dan Healy — The levels on Cold Rain And Snow were extremely low on the master causing tape hiss — It took dozens of hours to repair the flutter issues but it was worth the effort — This is far from perfect but still a lot better than what I started off with — Thanks to Ted Mattes and Scott Clugston for the patch source

I grew up in Houston and was 11 at the time of this show. I remember seeing the new reports footage of the deadheads and had no idea what it was about. Thankfully 5 years later almost to the day a friend popped in a cassette of 8/24/68 the first time I tried mushrooms and I’ve been on the bus ever since. Also, this show is an absolute smoke show, just on fire as soon as they open the gate. Standout songs for me are: mingle wood, Mexicali, stagger, music never, and the everything from space on. And that SPACE y’all..it’s insane

I was there and learned that they don’t play songs just because they are their only top 40 song. West LA Fadeaway was right on time representing the new album. Grateful to have seen this show as it was smoking right off the bat. they seldom played houston, but when they did, they did it up right
