On this day at the band’s clubhouse – aka Club Front – the boys are sort of breaking in Brent as the new keyboardist. Perhaps “breaking in” is the wrong term; as you listen to the session, you get the sense that the rest of the members are feeling out just how far they could push things at this stage with Brent behind the keys. Judging by the awesome jamming here, they could push it really far. This is one studio recording that is more than worth the listen. Brent’s first show would come a week later, on April 22nd, and, like this tape, it promised a new era of awesomeness for the band.
