This is the Watts Acid Test which, because the Pranksters dosed Kool-Aid, gives the title to Tom Wolfe’s Electric Acid Kool-Aid Test, containing a long description of the event. Presumably the Dead actually played some music on that date, though one never really knows. What we have here is an enigmatic spiel from Pig and some rather annoying accompaniment from Bobby.
