This rehearsal involves some rather odd jamming with a drum machine kicking in the background instead of the two drummers. I doubt you will make it through the whole recording, but I recommend giving it a listen, just to appreciate the odd sound, try to make sense of what the band was up to, and fit the song into your understanding of who the Dead are. It would have been very interesting to hear the band rock this tune out at a show; I can only imagine the way they would have explored its possibilities.
