Back in 1969, the Dead played a show at the Fillmore West. But that was the only January 4th show the boys ever did. According to a newspaper article on the show, the setlist was quite good, including Morning Dew, Good Morning Little Schoolgirl, Dark Star> Stephen> The Eleven> Lovelight. Unfortunately, that is all we know about the show. There are no recordings out there of that evening or any of the others from the band’s four-night run at the Fillmore West in early January of ’69.
