This is a hot little show from 1988. The band gets the crowd dancing from the start with a fun Hey Pocky Way and then shows they are ready to really blow minds with a stellar Desolation Row. There is a lot to like in here, including a very nice Estimated that fades off into Drums.
The sound quality on this Charlie Miller soundboard is outstanding. Being a late 80s show, there are a number of very good audience tapes floating around as well, including one that Miller himself recorded, worked his magic on, and sent out there into the ether. Audible on this soundboard, but even more pronounced on the audience tapes, is a great "we want Phil" chant from the crowd after It's All Over Now in the midst of the first set. Of course, the Dead oblige, delivering the Box of Rain.
